Bibb County deputies say two Macon boys were playing with a gun when one of them was shot.
It happened at about noon Wednesday at a home on Roy Street.
A 15-year-old boy has been charged with aggravated assault after an 11-year-old boy was shot in the leg, according Sgt. Linda Howard.
The teen was booked into the county Youth Detention Center.
Howard says the boy told his mother he had a stomach ache and seemed to hide the fact that he had been shot.
The investigation is ongoing.
