Mercer grabbed their second weekend series sweep at OrthoGeorgia Park as they took down Eastern Kentucky 5-4 on Sunday afternoon.
Mercer relied on their bullpen to get the win as three pitchers logged 8 innings of work and only gave up 2 runs. The Bears scored four of its five runs in the first three innings to grab their fourth series win on the year.
Trey Truitt was 2-4 with 2 RBI. Robert Broom earned his 3rd win on the season striking out five, allowed one run in 4 innings in relief.
Up next the Bears head to Atlanta to take on Georgia Tech.
