It was a championship rematch, and the ending was just like the first, except instead of a 5 point victory, the Upson Lee Knights took down St. Pius 74-50 to bring another GHSA 4A Title back to Thomaston.
The Knights capped off another perfect season and extended their winning streak to 63 games as they repeated as GHSA 4A state champs.
Senior Tye Fagan played his last game for the Knights and scored a game high 21 points and grabbed 10 rebounds. Jarrett Anderson scored 16 points, and Travon Walker also recorded a double double with 11 points, 12 rebounds and 5 blocks.
