Amazon delivery driver caught on camera peeing on customer's porch

Amazon is offering a device allowing deliveries to be dropped off inside your home to prevent porch pirates.

KUSA - A man who delivers packages for Amazon lost his job after he was caught on camera peeing on a customer’s porch.

William Washington, who lives in Aurora, saw the entire incident on his surveillance camera. He wasn’t home at the time, but can see who comes to his door through the Ring app on his phone.

In the video, the driver – whose face has been blurred by 9NEWS since he hasn’t been convicted of a crime – is seen looking around and then relieving himself right on Washington’s front porch.

The incident prompted Washington to file a report with Amazon’s customer service team.

According to Amazon, the seen in the video is an independent contractor rather than one of their employees.

The company provided the following statement about what occurred:

“This does not reflect the high standards we have for delivery partners. This individual is no longer delivering to Amazon customers.”
