A Centerville salon owner is facing child molestation charges according to Sergeant Keel Broom with the Houston County Sheriff's Office.

He said Matthew Caleb Pierce, the manager of Matthew Caleb Salon on Watson Boulevard in Centerville, turned himself in Sunday night after the sheriff's office contacted him.

Pierce is now in the Houston County Jail.

The jail's website says Pierce faces one count of child molestation, two counts of aggravated child molestation, aggravated sodomy, two counts of sexual battery and violation of probation state court.

Houston County Lieutenant Darin Meadows says it is an ongoing investigation involving multiple victims, and he could not release any other details.

He says there is no indication any of the victims are connected to the business.

Meadows expects the district attorney's office to set a bond hearing for later this week.
