Macon police announced they have re-arrested the indecent-exposure suspect who was released from jail on bond earlier in the week.
They said Timothy Marcus of Byron turned himself just after midnight on Saturday morning.
Macon police say Marcus is suspected of exposing himself to several women on busy streets in the Vineville Avenue-Forsyth Road neighborhood.
Police arrested Marcus, 46, of Byron Thursday at his job in Perry. According to the Georgia Sex Offender Registry, Marcus was convicted of child molestation in 1996 and registered for the sex-offender registry last April.
Police charged him Thursday with one count of indecent exposure and now have a warrant for a second charge. Police say Marcus also violated superior court probation out of Marietta.
Sergeant Sean DeFoe with the Bibb Count Sheriff's Office says Marcus was released from the Bibb County Jail because Marietta had not filed any warrants or holds on his probation.
He says the case was not heard by a magistrate judge because Marcus qualified under a preset bond schedule from the superior court.
Macon police said Friday that Marcus posted bond and was released from jail Thursday night. He called in sick to work on Friday.
