A Macon Police drug search warrant led officers to marijuana, a pistol and more than $1,000 in cash.

A police news release says it happened Tuesday night around 8:45 in the 800 block of Quinlan Drive. That's off of Houston Avenue.

Two people were arrested, the release says.

Police say 20-year-old Victoria Iesha Austin is charged with possession of marijuana with intent to distribute and possession of a firearm by a convicted felon.

29-year-old Fernandez Pierre Carter faces those same charges plus possession of a firearm during the commission of a felony and a probation violation, according to the release.

Police found a .380 handgun with ammunition, $1,120 in cash, more than two ounces of marijuana and two digital scales, according to police.
