Monday morning the Georgia Supreme Court upheld the murder conviction for Shaheed Rashad Milford of Macon.

In July 2010, police charged then 16-year-old Milford with the shooting death of 26-year-old Sean Robinson. Robinson died in a nursing home after being shot in the throat and paralyzed from the neck down in February 2011.

A jury convicted Milford in October 2011. Milford appealed for a new trial.

Georgia Supreme Court Justices upheld the conviction unanimously.
