Five people were arrested by Macon Police in a July 4 afternoon drug sweep after receiving a tip.
As Precinct 2 officers approached the house at 1154 N. Beddingfield, they noticed the "distinct odor of marijuana," according to a Thursday press release. Standing outside, they could see drugs inside.
MPD's Narcotics and K-9 units arrived with a search warrant, and officers found numerous weapons, drugs, paraphernalia and cash.
Four people were arrested without incident and charged with possession with intent to distribute and possession of a firearm during the commission of a felony. They are: Keith Brian Blow, 28; Trevaris Danzell Hicks, 19; Joshua Demarcus Hicks, 21; and Kristie Buckner, 18.
Crystal James, 17, was charged with being present where drugs are kept or sold. She was released on a $650 bond. The other four remained in the Bibb jail early Thursday afternoon.
