Lynn Borelli says she and her five year-old son Robert were sitting on the couch on Thursday afternoon when her ex-boyfriend Brandon McDowell burst through her front door with four other men.

"There's gonna be trouble. There's gonna be trouble because of the way it happened, and I was scared, and then my son was in the middle of me, and they had the guns, and I was freaking out cause I didn't want my son to get hurt."

She says they took her and her son to Tara Apartments off Log Cabin Drive where mother and child were kept in a back room "to try to hide us because they didn't want to get caught for what they did."

"So they were trying to hide us but I knew they couldn't hide me for long cause," Borelli explained.  "Someone was going to tell them where they were."

She says she thinks this was motivated by her ex-boyfriend's jealousy.

Police say they arrested two of the men who are brothers, Brandon and Jacoby McDowell.

Each faces charges for aggravated assault and kidnapping.

Borelli says her son is doing okay, but she still has nightmares about what happened.
