Macon police charged a man with holding his 22-year-old wife hostage at gunpoint.

According to a police news release, Terry Sylvester Warren III has been charged with false imprisonment. 

Warren has also been charged with aggravated assault. Police said he struck his wife in the presence of their two children in their home in the 4200 block of Mark Place. 

Warren was held at the Bibb County jail.
