DES MOINES, Iowa (AP) -- As the mystery surrounding the disappearance of a pair of young Iowa cousins enters its seventh day, the search has moved to a landfill and a closer look into the lake near where the girls' bicycles were found last week while a congressman calls for more FBI involvement.
Family members of Elizabeth Collins, 8, and Lyric Cook-Morrissey, 10, are pleading for more help in finding the girls, last seen Friday leaving Elizabeth's house less than a mile from the lake.
Tammy Brousseau, aunt to both girls, told The Associated Press she fears the girls were abducted, possibly by a sexual predator.
U.S. Rep. Bruce Braley says the girls' families asked him to send a letter to FBI Director Robert Mueller seeking assurance that all agency resources were being used.
