Later this week the Western Little League All Stars will hit the diamond representing Georgia in the Little League Softball Southeastern Regionals.
Tuesday afternoon, the Western All Stars hit the field to shag flies and take in batting practice before their big tournament debut in Warner Robins.
Western opens up Thursday night at 7pm against North Carolina and head coach Mike Phillips says he is eager for his girls to take center stage.
"They estimated already that there is going to be 6000 people in that stadium already", says Phillips. "They're going to get out there in that huge stadium and see a crowd full of folks. So thats the biggest thing I'm worried about, getting the nerves out. But there isn't anything you can do but just go out there and play."
Western Little League is made up of Macon and Bibb County along with a portion of Roberta and Crawford County.
