LAWRENCEVILLE, Ga. (AP) -- A Gwinnett jury has indicted a woman accused of molesting a teenage girl at a domestic violence shelter.
The Gwinnett Daily Post reports that Shannon N. Bowles was charged with one count of child molestation for allegedly having a sexual relationship with a 14-year-old girl.
The District Attorney's office in Gwinnett County says Bowles was indicted July 18. A police report says Bowles -- who was 22-years-old at the time -- was arrested Jan. 28 after the teenager called a counseling hotline and reported the allegations.
Bowles was released on bond three days after her arrest.
A police report says the teen initially told an officer that she and Bowles were just friends, but eventually said the pair was in a sexual relationship.
A trial date hasn't been set.
