Macon's Financial Crimes Unit arrested a 42-year-old man for 164 counts of Identity Fraud.
Police say they seized $13,000 in cash, 50 additional identities and 50 transaction cards with card readers and documents pertaining to other potential victims.
Darryl Lecon Davis, 42, was taken into custody at his 552 Ivy Brook Way home in Macon.
In a press release, police spokeswoman Melanie Hofmann said Davis opened several fraudulent credit card accounts and then made approximately $40,000 in purchases with them.
Davis was also wanted for federal charges of possession of a firearm by a convicted felon.
This case is still under investigation and more charges are pending.
Davis was transported to the Bibb County jail.
