WRALL Pulls Out Comeback Win Over Florida, 7-6

Georgia defeated Florida 7-6 on Saturday. It was the Peach State's second game of the Southeastern Regional and their first win in pool play.

WRALL trailed 4 to 0 after the top of the first thanks to a three-run homer from Tate Whatley.  Georgia found their rythum in the bottom of the third.  With the bases loaded, Florida walked Bryce Morgan.  The Sunshine State still led 5-2. 

The next batter kept it going for the Peach State.  Reggie Ling dropped a shot right in front of the third baseman.  Ling was safe at first and Jackson Jones tagged home plate.

The tying run came off the bat of pitcher Tee Adams.  Adams hit a ground out to first, but Leyton Pinckney made it safely home to tie the game at 6.

Connor Bookout is the hero of the day for the WRALL squad.  He knocks the RBI single that brought in the winning run.

Tee Adams took to the mound mid-game to get the save. He had two K's in the top of the sixth that helped Georgia get their first win.

WRALL will finish pool play on Monday at 10 a.m. against Alabama.
