A Crimestoppers tip led to the arrest of a man on the Macon Police Department's "Most Wanted" list.
The Southeast Regional Task Force arrested Dantre Shivers August 8th and charged him with aggravated assault and armed robbery.
According to a news release fro the Macon Police Department, Shivers was found in an apartment rented for him by a relative in Lithonia, Georgia.
Officers surrounded the apartment building, preventing Shivers from
jumping out a second story window. Shivers was arrested along
with three others, two males and one female. Several guns, cocaine and marijuana were confiscated.
Police say Shivers was one of two men who tried to rob grandmother Luisa Campbell on English Avenue in April, but she fired back at the suspects.
The first suspect, Brenton Lance Spencer, was shot in the chest. He was treated at the Medical Center and went straight to the Bibb County jail upon his release.

Police originally released several photos of Shivers, hoping someone would recognize him and come forward.
