The grounds of the old Ragan Park offered up some of its memories Saturday afternoon.
Organizers say about 450 people came out to the old park location to see the newly renovated buildings and talk a walk down memory lane.
The reunion offered a live band, dancing, food from Sonny's BBQ and a tour of the new and improved area.
In 1913, Bill Ragan opened the doors to the amusement park that had bumper cars, train rides, a lake, skating rink, a concession stand and much more.
"It has a lot of memories for me because I used to come skating here and I met my husband here," said Bannie Edwards.
Over the years the park has exchange hands and gone through different owners.
"It doesn't look like it did at that time, but it makes you feel good to know that someone has taken enough interest to remodel and try to get people out here and It's great. I think It will be good for Macon," said Grace Reeves.
The new place will be used for reunions and parties.
