GRIFFIN, Ga. (AP) - A Spaulding County road will close next week so TV crews can film scenes for AMC's "The Walking Dead."
County officials are allowing the closure of Line Creek Road to through traffic for two days next week while filming is in progress.
Mike Riley, the location manager for Stalwart Films, told the Griffin Daily News (http://bit.ly/NNNUHk ) that the closure will protect the safety of the crew. Spectators will be kept at a distance.
The fictional TV series follows a group of survivors wandering Georgia after a zombie apocalypse.
