Macon police say they've made an arrest in the double homicide from last week.

They say the've arrested Rodney Lowery, who was taken into custody earlier this week on a probation violation.

Today, he's accused of murdering of 26-year-old Antonio Fluellyn and 25-year-old Deundra Emory.

The two victims were found at Fluellen's home on Cowan Street on Thursday night, August 30.

Police say evidence from the scene and information from the public led them to Lowery, who told investigators he was working on the house just across the street from Fluellen's.

Emory's older sister Jacquelyn said Fluellen was a longtime family friend.

She says her brother would often stop in to visit with Fluellen when he would walk from his house to his grandmother's just down the street. She says he was on his way home from his grandmother's the night he was killed.

Jacquelyn said Emory lived at home with their mother and his seven-year-old daughter.

Police say they're still investigating the relationship between Lowery and the two victims.
