Four students were arrested after two separate fights at Westside High School Tuesday, the Bibb school district reports.
The fights happened around three hours apart, according to a news release.
In the first, around 8:30 a.m., two 16-year-old males began fighting in a classroom, as one student hit another in the face. The aggressor was charged with simple battery and disrupting a public school.
The second fight happened around 11:50 a.m., when a male and female student began arguing in a classroom and then continued the argument in the hallway after class. Two more students joined in and the argument turned physical.
The district says a 17-year-old and 18-year-old males were charged with taking part in an affray and disrupting a public school. A 16-year-old girl was charged with disrupting school.
No weapons were involved and no injuries were reported, the district says.
