Macon police conducted an unannounced citywide detail Wednesday from 9 p.m. until 3 a.m. Officers made 38 arrests and issued 25 citations on offenses ranging from criminal street gang participation to driving on a suspended license.
According to a police news release, officers from Macon's Strike, Narcotics, Gang and Traffic Units staffed the detail and were assisted by the Southeast Regional Fugitive Task Force, Macon Probations, Bibb Sheriff's Office and Bibb Juvenile Justice.
