On Friday, "Trouble With The Curve" starring Clint Eastwood will hit theaters across the country. Parts of the film were shot in Macon, including at the bar Cheers on Northside Drive.
Jim Pierson, the owner of Cheers, said he's ready for for his bar's big- screen debut. At the bar, the seat where Clint Eastwood chowed down on a burger and fries is clearly marked.
Pierson said he doesn't know for how long his bar will be in the movie, but he does know that it wasn't on the cutting-room floor.
"We are are definitely in the movie; we had to sign a release so we know we're in it," said Pierson. "It may be a three-minute scene at most but still having Clint Eastwood in your bar and grill is about the biggest thing that I can imagine."

Pierson said his bar is called Jimmy's in the movie and that it will look a little different on screen than it does in real life.
"When you see it on the screen you're not going to recognize as much of it because they came in and took everything out on the bar side and they changed everything and put their stuff in, so it's not going to look like Cheers when you walk through the door," said Pierson. "But the semblance of it - the bar, the tables and behind the bar - they left everything behind the bar when you walk in here or you see it in the show you'll know where you are."
Some Cheers customers that 13WMAZ talked to said that they think they will know the bar when they see it.
"It's a pretty recognizable place. I am sure they didn't change everything," said Mike Jamison of Atlanta.
"I hope I don't yell out because everybody in the theater will probably go crazy, but I am just excited to see it. I'm excited to see the movie itself but especially see the clips from Macon," said Pam Davis of Forsyth.
Pierson said that he plans to see the film over the weekend. He also said that this may not be the last time you could see his bar on the big screen.
"It's already opened the door. The two guys from Warner Brothers flew back in about three weeks ago on a Tuesday. They came in and we talked and they are doing another movie in Macon and Clayton," said Pierson. "They wouldn't tell me what it was about because they say I got too much publicity on this one. "
