Macon police say they arrested three men after one, robbed of his drugs at gunpoint, turned the tables and stole the thieves' car.
According to a police news release, Demarious Shamote Brown, 21, was charged with auto theft. Trenton Blake Wilkinson, 22, was charged with armed robbery and misdemeanor theft by taking. Samuel Brooks Kent, 18, was charged with armed robbery.
According to the release, Brown told officers that Wilkinson and Kent robbed him at gunpoint at 1980 Gray Highway on Wednesday.
After a fight, the two men took off on foot with an undisclosed amount of marijuana.
Police say Brown then noticed that Wilkinson and Kent left the keys in their Honda Accord, so Brown drove it elsewhere and parked it there.
Unable to find their car where they left it, Wilkinson and Kent reported it stolen to the police.
Brown was arrested and has been released on bond.
Wilkinson was also arrested at that time. A warrant was signed for Kent's arrest, and he was arrested on Friday.
They both remain in custody at the Bibb County jail.
