It was the talk of the Georgia National Fair In the art department, winning three ribbons including "Best of Show" for sculptures. Salvador is the name of an iron horse piece created by Donnie Wright of Cochran.
Wright says it took him nearly four months to finish the piece which he created using items found at a scrap iron yard. He says this year's success inspired him to begin work on another piece.
He sold the iron horse sculpture to a couple from Byron for an undisclosed amount.
