Police Investigate Macon Sports Bar Shooting

Macon police are looking into a shooting early Saturday morning at a West Macon bar.

A police statement said just after 3 a.m., witnesses heard gunfire after 3 or 4 cars arrived at Z-2 sports bar on Williamson Road. The witnesses didn't see fired what police describe as "random shots" in the parking lot.

A 38-year-old black male got a bullet to the pelvis and was taken to the Medical Center. Police say his injury is not life-threatening.

Another man was hit by glass. He was treated and released.
