EAST POINT, Ga. (WXIA) -- Friends and family will gather Monday night to pay tribute to Greg McDowell, the father of two was killed last week at World Changers Church International.

McDowell was leading prayer during a Wednesday morning Bible study when police said he was shot at point blank range.

A former church worker, Floyd Palmer, is charged with McDowell's murder.

There will be a wake from 6 p.m. to 9 p.m. Monday at Gus Thornhill's Funeral Home in East Point.

McDowell's funeral will be held Tuesday at World Changers in South Fulton County.
