$1 Million Lottery Ticket Sold in Riverdale

RIVERDALE, Ga. -- Someone in Clayton County is waking up $1 million richer Thursday.

Georgia Lottery spokesperson Tandi Reddick confirmed that a $1 million ticket in Wednesday's historic Powerball drawing was sold in Riverdale.

The winner has yet to come forward.

More than 8.9 million people smaller shares of the big prize.
