Frank Dixon of Macon Peacekeepers, is the son of Frank Reeves, the man charged with shooting Linda Hunnicut on Tuesday.
He spoke to 13WMAZ for the first time Friday about his father, saying he knew the disabled 73-year-old kept a gun, but that he had never known Reeves to be irresponsible with the weapon.
Reeves faced felony murder charges for the Tuesday incident, which happened in broad daylight at the Murphy Express gas station on Gray Highway.
Dixon also expressed his sorrow for the Hunnicutt family. We have compiled parts of our interview here.
