Bibb County Coroner Leon Jones told 13WMAZ that 78-year old Willie Evans, Sr. of Warner Robins was pronounced dead on the scene of an accident involving one car and a flatbed truck Friday.

Jones said Evans' Cadillac sedan was trapped underneath the truck and it took crews several hours to clear the accident.

The accident happened before 7:00 a.m. and had blocked traffic on a large portion of Pio Nono Avenue.
