Georgia DOT officials could not be reached for comment Thursday morning.
GDOT has one westbound lane of Interstate 16 closed, a day after 27 vehicles and 10 separate accidents caused a 10-hour closure of both east- and westbound lanes.
The closure is between exits 38 to 36.
Four people lost their lives in the fiery crash and sent nine others to a Dublin hospital.
