A Forsyth company is offering their $125 home cleaning services for free. But it's for a good cause.
"Any women going through the treatment and care of cancer, we go in and offer a free cleaning for them,"says Gleam Cleaning Pros owner Tonya Gentle.
Six months ago, Gentle teamed up with the non-profit organization, Cleaning for a Reason, to offer up her professional services.
What usually costs $125 is now free for cancer patients living in Butts, Bibb, Monroe, and Lamar counties. Gentle provides services once every four months.
She says, "It just makes their life easier and it lets them concentrate on their treatment and getting better and beating the cancer."
To apply, all you have to do is visit Gleam Cleaning Pros, click free house cleaning, fill out the form and send in a doctor's note.
This is a way for Gentle to help women fight cancer. It's a cause that hits close to home.
"Both my grandmothers died of cancer, one with stomach cancer and one with pancreatic. My father died of cancer when I was 12," Gentle says. "My brother is a cancer survivor."
