The 55th annual GRAMMY Award show kicked off with a performance by Taylor Swift, some deep thoughts from host LL Cool J and a duet with Sir Elton John and Ed Sheeran.

Here are the winners and highlights from tonight:

11:17 p.m. - And... Album of the Year goes to Mumford and Sons for "Babel"

11:11 p.m. - Frank Ocean makes his debut at the GRAMMYs.

10:59 p.m. - "The Weight," a musical tribute to Levon Helm, of The Band, featuring Zac Brown, Mavis Staples, Mumford and Sons, Elton John, Brittany Howard of Alabama Shakes and T-Bone Burnett. 

10:52 p.m. - GRAMMYs tribute to the musicians who died in 2012, including Donna Summer, Andy Griffith, Davy Jones, Donald "Duck" Dunn and Adam Yauch, among many, many others.

10:48 p.m. - Justin Timberlake, Ryan Seacrest and Neil Portnow + announce the new Music Educator Award. Nominate a music educator here: 

10:38 p.m. - Prince announces the Record Of The Year award, which goes to Gotye and Kimbra for "Somebody That I Used To Know" 

10:24 p.m. - Best New Artist goes to fun., who played in Macon at the Grand in October 2011, opening for Janelle Monae. Tickets were $15. 

10:20 p.m. - Jack White rocks "Love Interruption" and the Staples Center by extension. 

10:05 p.m. - Sting, Rhianna and Bruno Mars kick-off a tribute to Bob Marley.

9:57 p.m. - The Zac Brown Band wins Best Country Album with 'Uncaged.' In 2006, the Georgia native played Bragg Jam in Macon for just a handful of people.

9:52 p.m. - Kelly Clarkson performs a moving tribute to Lifetime Achievement recipients Patti Page and Carole King.

9:48 p.m. - Blues great Dr. John takes the stage with The Black Keys.

9:39 p.m. - The GRAMMY for Best Rap/Sung Collaboration goes to Frank Ocean, The Dream, Kanye West and Jay-Z for "No Church In The Wild" 

9:29 p.m. - Kelly Clarkson's "Stronger" wins her the GRAMMY for Best Pop Vocal Album

9:24 p.m. - Alicia Keys plays drums on "Girl on Fire," joining Maroon 5 on stage.

9:20 p.m. - The Black Keys win Best Rock Performance for "Lonely Boy" 

9:12 p.m. - Frank Ocean takes home the GRAMMY for Best Urban Contemporary Album winner for "Channel Orange" 

9:05 p.m. - Justin Timberlake makes a triumphant return to the stage at the GRAMMYs -- hair straight, wearing a tux, the Tennessee Kids backing him and a black and white filter.

8:52 p.m. - fun. wins Song Of The Year for "We Are Young" 

8:43 p.m. - Carrie Underwood wins Best Country Solo Performance for "Blown Away" 

8:32 p.m. - Miranda Lambert and Dierks Bentley took the stage with Macon's Brian Layson on guitar. 

8:21 p.m. - With Jennifer Lopez and Pitbull presenting, Adele takes home the first award of the evening, winning Best Pop Solo Performance for "Set Fire To The Rain [Live]"
