A retired postal worker from Gray got his own delivery on Valentine's Day from the Georgia Lottery. Richard Jones won $50,000 from the Jumbo Bucks Classic instant win game.
That's a day after a Central Georgia man won $500K in Macon.
He asked a friend to grab a ticket while at the Chevron Market on Riverside Drive in Macon. He scratched the winning ticket from the comfort of his own home after the friend returned the ticket to him.
Jones said he couldn't believe his prize and called his friend, who had delivered the ticket, to tell him the news.
He retired from the U.S. Postal Service eight years ago and says he might make some dinner plans for Valentine's Day to celebrate his $50,000 prize.
