An SUV flipped on the Gray Highway in east Macon this morning, apparently causing serious injuries and snarling traffic.
It happened around 8:30 a.m. near the U-Haul store. The accident involved at least four vehicles.
Witnesses says the chain-reaction accident happened when vehicles coming down the hill toward downtown encountered slowed-down traffic.
It appeared that at least two people from the white SUV were taken to hospitals.
