Houston Texans' defensive back Kareem Jackson returned to Westside High School Saturday to benefit a local charity.

Jackson and several of his friends from the NFL traded in their helmets and pads for sneakers in a celebrity basketball game.  All the action was to support the Boys & Girls Clubs of Central Georgia.

Former West Laurens Raider, Demaryius Thomas, also returned to the Peach State for the showdown on the hardwood.  Thomas plays wide receiver for the Denver Broncos.

"I love to give back and help kids," said Thomas.  "Just do whatever I've got to do to help the community."

For Jackson, the organization hits close to home.

"I actually grew up in the Boys & Girls Club.  As a kid, I knew how positive the Boys & Girls Club is, from teaching you life lessons to teaching you little fundamentals dealing with sports and stuff."

The money raised from ticket sales went to helping around 2700 kids involved in the organization.
