COVINGTON, Ga. (AP) - A north Georgia home mental health care provider has been arrested in the death of her sole client.
Newton County Sheriff's officials say 44-year-old Cornelius Richardson-Bethea was arrested Saturday in the death of 47-year-old Susan Walter.
Officials say they found Walter dead Saturday morning and the woman had bruises on her head and shoulders. Sheriff's Spokeswoman Deputy Courtney Morrison told the Atlanta Journal-Constitution (http://bit.ly/Wtkgv8 ) Walter's death was ruled a homicide by blunt force trauma.
Richardson-Bethea was denied bond Monday and is being held in the Newton County Jail. She is charged with failure to protect a disabled person and felony murder.
It is unclear if she has an attorney.
