Macon-Bibb firefighters as of 11 p.m. were working to put out flames at East Ridge Apartments on Crissey Drive.
That's in East Macon off Gray Highway.
The highway was blocked as firefighters worked, and traffic rerouted to side streets.
Macon Police dispatch could not confirm any reports of injuries.
