Deputies have arrested five men they suspect of robbing "johns" in the parking lots of two Central Georgia motels.
According to a news release from the Bibb County Sheriff's Office, the victims looked for escorts over the Internet and believed they were setting up meetings with them at area hotels.
But when they would arrive for the meetings, investigators say the victims were robbed by the people they expected to be prostitutes.
The two separate incidents happened in the parking lots of the Fairfield Inn on Sheraton Drive and a Motel 6 on Harrison Road.
John Wilburn Harmon, 26; Alfonzon Hymm 23; and Jocquis Moody, 18, were all arrested for the robberies at Fairfield Inn.
Gerald Arthur Reid, 26, and Michael Gary Bonamo, 23, were arrested for the Motel 6 robberies.
All men are being held without bond on charges of armed robbery.
No one was hurt in the robberies.
