Their bodies were recovered during a brushfire near an elementary school Tuesday in Hephzibah - about 15 miles southwest of Augusta.
Authorities say another one of the couple's sons asked police to perform a welfare check because he had not heard from his parents or brother since Monday. When police arrived, they found blood throughout the home and determined the victims had each been shot at least once.
It's unclear if Jones has an attorney.
