Graduating seniors in Houston County earned their diplomas Saturday.
More than 1800 students graduated this weekend.
Students from Warner Robins, Veterans, Perry and Houston County high schools walked across the stage.
Ceremonies for Houston County Career Academy and Northside High were held Friday.
Some students say they will miss being around their friends and teachers,but they are also excited about the future.
"It's taken on a whole new reality now that it's actually here. I'm looking forward to going to college at the University of Georgia, and I'll be taking part in their new engineering college." says Perry High's Valedictorian, Tyler Claxton.
Houston County Superintendent, Robin Hines says, "This is the reason that we do what we do. We want to provide a great education for our students. We feel like we've done that and we've prepared them for the next step."
Over 5,000 people were seated in the Miller Murphy Howard building at the Georgia National Fairgrounds.
Others were directed to Heritage Hall where they were able to watch a live stream of the ceremonies.
