Warner Robins police are investigating alleged illegal gambling at three convenience stores.

This morning, officers were at the Bi-Lo store on Green Street, the Sunoco also on Green Street and the David Food Store on North Davis Drive.

All three stores appeared to be closed today; police cruisers were parked outside and the stores were blocked off by crime-scene tape.

Officer Lance Watson said the three cases are connected and all three stores are suspected of offering cash payouts on video gambling.

Police spokeswoman Tabitha Pugh would say only that the department is investigating an alleged commercial gambling operation and they expect to release more details in a few days.
