Manatee County, Florida (WTSP) - A Florida woman is in jail on a felony battery on a law enforcement officer charge after deputies say she kissed the arresting officer - against his will - on the nose.
Manatee County deputies arrested Peggy Hill, 62, on Saturday outside her Bradenton home. Deputies were initially called to the house for a dispute between Hill and a neighbor, who were arguing over a fence between their properties.
The police report says Hill approached Sgt. Randy Lamb and kissed him on his nose. Lamb reportedly stepped away, wiped Hill's saliva off of his nose, and -- with the help of another deputy -- cuffed and arrested Hill.
Hill was booked into the Manatee County jail early Sunday and is being held in lieu of $5,000 bond. She is scheduled for a July 19 court appearance.
