A man is dead after an accident on I-75 south near mile marker 180 according to a press release from the Monroe County Sheriff's Office.
Monroe County Sheriff's Office Dispatch started getting calls shortly after 4:00 p.m. Sunday that three motorcycles were driving fast and weaving in and out of traffic on I-75. According to the release, witnesses told deputies that 20 year old Antonio Luis Collazo-Floyd wrecked after another vehicle changed lanes in front of him.
Collazo-Floyd lost control of his motorcycle and hit the guardrail on the left side of the highway. He was pronounced dead on the scene.
Another man riding behind Collazo-Floyd also wrecked his motorcycle but was not injured. The third man drove his motorcycle to the side of the road.
Another accident happened after Collazo-Floyd wrecked. His motorcycle crossed the interstate from the left to the right in front of cars.
Jesse Grooms of Savannah rear-ended Tong Slusher, also from Savannah, but neither the driver nor the passengers were injured.
