A fire destroyed a Houston County man's shop Tuesday night.
Firefighters received the call around 6:30 p.m. and arrived to see a storage building engulfed in flames.
The fire destroyed two motorcycles and everything else inside the shop, along with damaging a boat inside the building and a car out front.
Houston County Chief Fire Investigator William Smith says the owner had finished cutting his grass, and he parked his lawn mover in the building. The mower was still hot, and set on fire grass that had collected on the muffler. He said the flames took off from there.
The homeowner was not hurt.
