District 6 candidate Robert Abbott says he may challenge the results of Tuesday's Macon-Bibb elections.
Abbott finished third out of the four candidates. He missed the runoff by 63 votes. Adah Roberts and Ed DeFore will face off in the October election.
He says, "I don't mind losing, but I don't want to lose because of a stacked deck."
Abbott says he knows several people who live in District 6 but were forced to vote in district seven when they went to the polls.
"The numbers just add up," he told 13WMAZ. "I didn't even carry my own precinct and I carried it handily last time."
Abbott would not say whether he will file a lawsuit, but he does say he is gathering information that may lead to him challenge the results.
