The city of Perry will host their fourth annual music festival Saturday.
The music will fill the air Saturday, but Friday afternoon the streets were filled with the sounds and sights of stage building.
They blocked off Main Street to set up a stage right in front of the New Perry Hotel. There will also be two stages on Carol Street.
New for this year, visitors to the festival can consume alcohol on the street in designated areas.
"The more people we get buzzing around Perry the more it helps all the business owners in the downtown area." explains Rusty Brown, owner of Rusty's Bar and Grill.
"Each year we've been able to draw a few more people and we're hoping that with good weather this will be our best one yet." says City Manager, Lee Gilmour. Gilmour will also be a stage manger for the festival.
The festival features all kinds of music. It's free and begins Saturday at noon. For more information on bands performing at the festival visit their website.
