A Crawford County man now faces murder charges for allegedly shooting his stepbrother.
That's according to Sheriff Lewis Walker.
He said it happened Tuesday night at a home on Blasingame Road. That's outside of Fort Valley.
Walker says the two men argued and 31-year-old Jason Beckham shot his stepbrother in the stomach with a 12-gauge Mossberg model 500 pump shotgun.
36-year-old Travis Nigro died on the scene.
A magistrate judge yesterday denied bond for Beckham.
He's in the Crawford County jail, charged with felony murder and possessing a firearm while committing a crime.
The sheriff's department says it is awaiting autopsy results from the GBI crime lab.
