Macon police arrested a man who they say has been on the run since 2004.
A release says a sergeant saw 39-year-old Jason Morris Howard breaking into cars Friday near Enterprise Rental on Riverside Drive.
The release says he gave officers a different name, but they matched his finger prints to the name Jason Morris Howard.
Howard is a fugitive from Hinesville in Liberty County, Georgia and is wanted for the murder of his parents, according to the release.
Mildred Cleveland and Jewel Cleveland were murdered in March 2004. Their bodies were discovered in a shallow grave in June 2004 on their property, according to the release.
The release says Howard is listed on America's Most Wanted.
Howard is charged with two counts of Entering Auto, Possession of a Firearm During the Commission of a Felony, and Possession of Burglary Tools. Jason Morris Howard is being held in the Bibb County Jail.
