A Marietta man pled guilty Monday to kidnapping a man, slitting his throat and leaving him for dead in Bibb County.
Prosecutor Greg Winters says 31-year-old Naeem Omar Biddle pled guilty to kidnapping with injury and got an automatic life sentence from Judge Trip Self in Bibb County Superior Court.
Winters said that, on Oct. 8, 2008, Biddle kidnapped Calvin Creamer in Cobb County. He says Creamer thought they were going to have sex, but Biddle and another man tied him up with duct tape and put him in the trunk of his car.
Creamer kicked his way out of the trunk as they were going through the drive-through at an Atlanta-area McDonald's, so they tied him up again, Winters said.
In Bibb County, Winters said, they cut Creamer's throat, left him by the side of Jeffersonville Road and drove back to Cobb County.
Creamer played dead and later identified his attackers, according to Winters.
